Back on the Normandy coast for 3 nights of R&R before we head to Ouistreham. We’re staying at the Camping Municipal d’Arromanches (49°20’17.35″N 0°37’35.90″W) on a lovely pitch which catches the afternoon/evening sunshine.
Today we have seen the icing on the cake as far as ‘travelling with your pets’ goes. 2 Italian couples arrived, one in a caravan, one in a moho not that much bigger than our GerTee. The caravan contained one hound and one Persian cat which were promptly tethered on long leads outside. The moho had one German Shepherd type dog and not one, not two, but three moggies! The moho had been ‘cat escape proofed’ and included a ‘viewing platform’ which jutted out of a side window.
Curry for tea tonight, so all’s good!
