Day 47: Arromanches-les-Bains to Ouistreham

Packed all our gubbins up and left Arromanches on the way to our last stopover at the aire beside the port at Ouistreham (49°17’14.56″N 0°14’59.15″W). Before we get there, we must do ‘Le Shopping!’ Okeydokey then, off we trot to E-Leclerc at Bayeaux. It was just like ‘supermarket sweep’, down the Vin du Caves aisle!! Wish it was like this at Asda’s in Fareham but don’t think it will happen anytime soon, especially after Brexit (don’t get us started!).

Essentials purchased and a quick fill up with cheap French diesel, off we went. The aire at Ouistreham was rammed but we managed to squish into a small place and set off for our last lunch. Stuffed as we were after lunch, it’s final packing and fettlin’ time, then it’s nighty night!
