Sant Hipòlit de Voltregà to Tossa de Mar

Today’s trek to the Costa Brava has been a tad taxing on the nerves as some idiot stuck a mountain in our path without jolly well indicating it on the map. Add to this, 15kms of the road down into Tossa de Mar having twists, turns and hairpin bends and you can imagine the relief on our faces as we eventually arrive at ‘Camping Cala Llevado’ (41°42’53.99″N 2°54’23.82″E).

This is a 4 star campsite don’t ya know and is probably the largest site GerTee has ever stayed on. It’s a combo of touring pitches, apartments and chalets nestled amongst pine trees and above 3 beaches.

The touring pitches are mostly taken up by caravans with safari rooms and pup tents for the abundance of hormonal teenagers and the site resembles a posh refugee camp for the Dutch. Not too sure if we will enjoy it here but have decided to stick it out for 4 nights anyway.

Me and him have decided to have a wee break from posting up this blog to give you lot a break from our drivel as well! Oh and we don’t want any jealousy from you whilst we dip our toes in the azure Mediterranean so adiós until next week. xx
