Well the weather is perfectly matching our mood today, grey, wet and thoroughly miserable. We’ve put the time to good use by beginning to fettle bits and pieces away in preparation for the trip home on Friday morning.
There’s a very brief interlude in the weather so we managed an hours walk around a very damp Saint Aubin. The towns’ church is sadly not utilised much and it’s all locked up so we can’t even have a nose around. Apparently you have to phone up to arrange entry and it looks as though it’s now really only used for the ‘hatch, match and dispatch services!
Back in GerTee we have decided to play at being 7 year olds and get the colouring books out and just about manage not to squabble over the pencils… quite amazing really. To help lift our mood the last emergency curry sauce has been used up, followed by a DVD and chocolate brownies… and we wonder why we felt sick.
